I graduated from Tufts Veterinary School in 1987 and have been practicing integrative medicine for more than ten years. I was IVAS certified in acupuncture in 2003 and just completed the IVAS herbal course (September of 2014). I own a three veterinarian practice in Maine and also work at Portland Veterinary Specialists, a referral hospital with eleven Board certified veterinarians. My role as the Integrative Medicine Specialist continues to evolve. I have a great relationship with all the Specialists and receive many internal referrals, particularly from the oncologists and surgeons. I am actively involved in educating both clients and staff about the benefits of integrative medicine in general and herbs. acupuncture and nutrition in particular. |
