Belly bloating resolved within 3 days of d/c w/d and starting cooked ground meat:canned pumpkin, digestive enzymes, probiotics, B12 injections. Weight has increased from 6.28 to 6.76 lbs. Albumin was 2.8/Globulin 2.5 on Nov 3; Now Alb =3.2/Glob=2.8
Will decrease prednisone from 2.5 to 1.25 mg SID and will start Chai Hu Shu Gan San and will balance the diet with supplement from BalanceIt.com

Pet is doing great at home. Active. Stools small and formed.
Began Chinese Herbal med today.
In two weeks will decrease prednisone to 1/4 tablet every other day. 4 weeks after that will check weight/Minichem.(~Jan. 29)//kaj

Sheila reports she noticed she did fine the first week after decreasing pred to twice a week.
Second week she noticed a bit of a change, less energy.
Even now stools are OK.
Feb. 28:
Will start BalanceIT supplement tomorrow added to her diet.
Sheila prefers to use pumpkin instead of sweet potato (so will need to try and reconfigure recipe)//kaj
March 1, 2015:
Diet: Chicken/Pumpkin and and egg 3 times a week; Chinese herbal med 1/8 teaspoon BID; Probiotic BID; Dig Enzy (RX Vitamins) 1/4 tsp BID; 1/8 teaspoon Flax oil
MCT 2.5 ml q 3d, B12 0.25 mls once a month. Has not been on BalanceIT supplement because none of the dogs would eat their food.
Prednisone 1/4 tablet every third day.

Pet is doing fantastic! She is energetic, her coat looks great. Stools normal.
Feeding same homemade diet as they have been.
She won't take the BalanceIt supplement in food tho and client does not want to add anymore supplements to her food. Was adamant.
