Treatment and Outcome

Treatments
Day 119

Notes:  Assessment by chiropractor indicated L-S fixation . Treated Nov 25/14,Dec 05/14, Jan 10/15. No lameness has occurred since that time. Dog returning to agility work. Pulses improved significantly on Bu Gan Tang and Kan Essentials Benefit Hips and Knees. Pulses became slightly more wiry when reduced Bu Gan Tang to SID from BID. Will recheck in a couple of weeks and may return to BID for a while longer. Will continue Benefit Hips and Knees until after has returned to competition in April. If no recurrence of lameness will attempt to wean off. Haircoat has improved significantly in color and texture on BGT. Dog doing well at this point. Owner has continued Traumeel and Ruta grav to date and will continue to use as needed.

Diet is largely canned or kibble

Day 189

Notes:  Dog has been doing very well. Have been weaning off of the Bu Gan Tang and Benefit Hips and Knees. Pulse much better still than when we started treatment but is slightly more wiry than it has been. Haircoat also a bit drier. May need to increase herbs again for awhile and work on diet.

Diet is largely canned or kibble
