Hi Cathy,
To clear that Heat, I would probably reach for Hoxsey. It's more consistently been a feature of our successes in multi-centric lymphoma than Si Miao San. I'd give it a try. It's okay to use SMS, though.
The other formula we've been teaming with Hoxsey and XCHT lately is Tan Yu Tang. So that is an option for you, too

OK. So in the case of TYT, you're using these 3 formulas together? All TID in usual amounts? For cancer cases in general, are you starting at, say, 1.5X usual dose or more?

Hi Cathy,
We are at least using the formulas BID, in full doses, to start with. We go up or down from there, as the case unfolds. For example, if they were a little better but not quite what we wanted, we'd either add in a third dose, or give more per dose, or both.
If things were great, we'd probably test whether we could pull back on a formula that was expensive, didn't taste great, or seemed to have some side effects.
Generally, though, BID dosing with full doses of each formula should be enough to tell whether you are on the right track, or need to make changes
